Story
The Chill team is a small, focused group of people dedicated to building a beautiful and useful product. This humble journey began in a place we call The Founder's Room (a small converted garage in the Hollywood Hills). It was here we formed our opinions, laughed and experimented building a myriad of social tools.
At Chill, each day provides a new opportunity to improve our product and reimagine what's possible. We're not your normal startup and don't aspire to be like one. Adaption is life. We do not have a terminal goal as a company. The best case scenario is we learn and change constantly throughout this dynamic process. We, in fact, love the spirit of change.
We're awful certain that if we build something people love good things will happen. So that's what we've set out to do. Internally we firmly believe in rugged individualism, optimism, fearless experimentation, wonderment and beauty (some qualitites that are on remarkable display in our beloved city of Los Angeles, CA). These core values impact every aspect of our product and team. Chill is not faceless company, we are people just like you (likely a dash crazier).
Our love of new technology, light, fluid spaces, cross-disciplinary thinking and vigorous debate makes Chill an interesting and challenging place to work. Drop us a line if you think you're a talented designer or programmer. It's our belief that a startup is nothing more than a collection of people and ideas that, with painstaking effort and clarity, may one day manifest into something useful.
Chill was founded by Brian Norgard and Daniel Gould and is funded by Kleiner Perkins, Atlas Ventures, Redpoint, CrunchFund, 500 Startups, Science and Troy Carter.
